How Does Platelet-Rich Plasma Work?

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
A typical treatment takes about 45 to 60 minutes to perform. Anesthetic cream is first applied to the desired treatment area. However, some patients experience mild discomfort, especially around sensitive areas such as the mouth, eyes, and hairline.
What Results Will I See?*
Researchers have found that most people have the best results after 3 treatments separated by 1 month between treatments.
For hair growth, maintenance treatments are often required every 6 to 12 months. Typically, results will last between 6 and 18 months.
Is There Any Downtime?
There’s minimal or no downtime associated with your PRP treatment, although your skin may be tender and sensitive for the first few days after your procedure.
