Fat Freezing Vs. Weight Loss
Natural weight loss is great, but have you noticed how there are stubborn pockets of fat that no amount of diet or exercise can get rid of? With Coolsculpting, you don’t have to put up with this insult!
There’s another thing you should know. Fat cells are forever! Yes, it’s perfectly true what they say: fat cells can shrink, but they stick around, just waiting for another opportunity to store up some extra fat.
Superficial fat in the form of hard to shift cellulite is an additional problem, and sometimes, weight loss makes cellulite even more prominent.
Coolsculpting gets rid of fat cells: then it’s up to you to keep them away
Coolsculpting or “fat freezing” freezes fat cells to death, allowing your body to eliminate them as waste. But there’s one thing you should know: fat cells can replace themselves if you provide the right conditions.
If you tend to be lean, and just have some fatty areas you want to get rid of, chances are you don’t need to adopt any major lifestyle changes, but if you’re actually overweight, you should begin by finding out why you’re overweight and adjust your lifestyle accordingly to keep the fat cells from re-forming a few months or years later.
When you’re ready for Coolsculpting
Coolsculpting isn’t for everyone. Preferably, you should have got as far as possible with your weight loss through diet and exercise. You shouldn’t be more than a few pounds over your ideal weight, but you still see bulges where you don’t want them despite your healthy lifestyle.
Most women choose Coolsculpting to get rid of fat bulges on the tummy, sides and thighs (although it can be used on other sites too). You should only commit to cool sculpting if you are willing to maintain a healthy diet and exercise frequently. Remember, if you consume more energy than you burn, your body will make new fat cells and your Coolsculpting results will suffer.
If you’re not willing to wait a couple of months to see your results, you aren’t ready for Coolsculpting. You should also be aware that there is a recovery process. The results are worthwhile.
You can’t target specific fat areas with exercise
Although you can target muscle groups with exercise, you can’t target specific places where fat accumulates. You can improve blood circulation to those places which may help to get the fat burned, but you can’t actually “work” fat as you “work” muscles. Think of tennis players. Their dominant arm works hardest. Therefore, if exercise targeted fat in the area where muscles work, you’d expect to see tennis players with one skinny arm and one plumper one. You don’t.
With cool sculpting you really can decide where you’d like to have less fat and target specific problem areas. That’s one of its chief advantages! Natural weight loss? Sure, it’s good for your health and it helps keep your weight down, but if you want to target where fat comes off, cool sculpting or liposuction are your only options.
